Dr. Angela Meeler
Dr. Angela Meeler grew up in Roxboro, NC and attended NC State University where she received a degree in Animal Science. She graduated from North Carolina State University's College of Veterinary Medicine in 2015 and has been practicing veterinary medicine in Raleigh, NC since 2016. She moved back home to the family farm in Roxboro in 2020 and is excited to be working in her home community again after such a long time away.
Her special interests lie in dermatology and neurology but she mostly just enjoys building a relationship with her clients and their pets. She is also an AVCA certified veterinary chiropractor since 2019. This means she has taken an optional extra step in her chiropractic training that required her to pass both a written and practical exam. The AVCA promotes quality in animal chiropractic based upon current and valid standards, providing a reliable indicator of competence.
Dr. Meeler spends her free time with her husband, Jeremy, one cat, Sasha, three miniature schnauzers, Riker, Data, and Jaylah, two miniature Australian shepherds, Crusher and Rebel, and sport mix, Sulu. She participates in various dog sports such as agility, flyball, disc, and dock diving. In addition to dogs and cats, she also has a love for horses, gaited horses specifically, and rides as much as time allows
