Denise has been working at Roxboro Animal Hospital since the winter of 2007 as a kennel assistant while still in High school, once graduated she attended Winston Salem State and graduated in 2014 with a bachelor's in Biology. She returned to work full time and moved into a veterinary assistant role this is when she decided this was the career path for her. She began online veterinary technology program at San Juan College and will be graduating shortly. Once she graduates, she will have to pass the state exam and the rigorous national exam before she will officially earn her title as Registered Vet Tech. We are all very proud and excited for her as it has been a long journey! Denise and her husband, Mark have two dogs, Ceasar and Bourbon and a guinea pig named Freddie.
